The theme for Fall Professional Development Day is Learning from Within.

We will be celebrating and learning from our own community of amazing colleagues and experts in their fields. To maximize accessibility, we will provide as many HyFlex options as possible. We also hope to see many of you on campus for community-building and our recognition event during lunch acknowledging the dedication and excellence of our fellow colleagues.

The morning session will best be experienced on campus, live-streamed and recorded for later viewing. After the first morning session for all employees, we will be highlighting employee share-outs developed for and by classified professionals, faculty and management, from the more than 80 employees across the college that attended the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education (NCORE) conference in the Spring.  HyFlex and on-campus options will be available for the NCORE share-out sessions. Please join us for lunch on campus, during which we will recognize and highlight the amazing work of many SMC employees! The afternoon workshops will be a combination of on-campus, HyFlex and Zoom only. Many sessions will also be recorded and available for viewing shortly after PD day.
