MEDIA 21: Students will be
MEDIA 34/34L: Advanced Digital Filmmaking – Course Theme: “Living Histories Narrative Recreations”
Students will produce original content in the form of filmed narrative scenes inspired by the “Emeritus Mitzi Blahd Living Histories Project,” a series of oral testimonies featuring current and future alumni from SMC’s Emeritus Noncredit (Free) Lifelong Learning Program for those 55+. Students will have the opportunity of engaging in different crew positions for the making of these narrative projects.
N.B. Film 34/34L will interact closely with Media 21, Documentary Production, which will be documenting the interviews.
Academic Year 2023-24 will see this project launch.
