LGBTQ Students: How You Can Help Create an Inclusive Campus
Our college community is becoming increasingly aware that LGBTQ students may be struggling due to harassment or exclusion, and the negative impact it has on their health and academic performance.
To address this concern, we have adopted an online training simulation that will help build a community of respect, inclusion, and support for LGBTQ students. In this 30 minute interactive role-play course, you will learn how to address discriminatory language, how to talk to a student who chooses to discuss their LGBTQ identity, and how to identify when a student may be distressed and refer them to support.
