About SMC Transfer Rates

  • Transfer statistics for SMC students that enrolled at the University of California (UC). Data is provided by the UC and the California Postsecondary Education Commission (opens in new window)  (CPEC).
  • SMC has transferred the most number of students to the UC in California. About 85% of all junior transfer students accepted into a UC came from California Community Colleges.
  • SMC also transfers the most African-American and Chicano/Latino students into the UC.
