Transfer Admission Guaranteed
Loyola Marymount University (LMU) from Santa Monica College
If you follow the steps below, you are guaranteed admission to LMU.
If you do not meet the requirements, you may still apply to LMU through the standard transfer application process:
Step 2
Meet with a SMC counselor to verify that you fulfill the required conditions for your major according to the transfer agreement.
Step 3
Complete the LMU Transfer Admission Guarantee Interest Form.

Complete and submit the Common Application online, OR the LMU application by the application deadline.

Submit your application to LMU by the priority dates to ensure full consideration for all programs. LMU can only promise a decision by the timeline provided if your application is completed by the deadline. While LMU makes every effort to notify students of their application status, applicants are encouraged to contact the LMU office prior to the deadline to verify if their application is complete.
