Welcome to the Design Technology Department

At Santa Monica College, our students are the change agents who will bring the next wave of design technology to fruition. Courses across entertainment technology, interaction design, architecture, graphic design and interior architectural design draw insight from experienced faculty including industry professionals, who use current technology to solve real world problems.

Located in the heart of Silicon Beach, the new Center for Media & Design unites all SMC programs focused on preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving media, design, and technology fields.
