The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Undergraduate Public Health Scholars
Program (CUPS) prepares students to consider a public health career. A core area of
study and practice is related to the health needs of racial and ethnic minority populations
and other populations who are often underserved and underrepresented in the public
health field. Students work in a variety of public health settings including community
organizations, health departments, university-based programs, and federal agencies
