About Guitar
The Guitar Certificate of Achievement can be awarded to students who complete 8 units of guitar classes and 4 units of collaborative performance on guitar. Up to 4 units of alternate applied instrumental coursework may be substitute for guitar classes if enrollment in guitar classes has been exhausted.

Completion of major requirements does not satisfy all transfer admission requirements to UC, CSU, California Private, Out of State, or International institutions.
