Shooting at the Center for Media & Design, All Santa Monica College Campuses Closed on October 15

Santa Monica, CA— At approximately 9:50 p.m. a shooting occurred at the Santa Monica College (SMC) Center for Media & Design at 1660 Stewart Street in Santa Monica. The Santa Monica Police Department is investigating the incident. At this time, we have confirmed that one employee has been shot. Law enforcement is actively searching for a suspect.  

All Santa Monica College campuses will be closed on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
