Join us for this momentous occasion as we celebrate the achievements of over 5,000 graduating students! We are delighted to invite you, our esteemed board members, faculty, staff, and managers to be a part of our traditional Commencement ceremony.

RSVP to Participate and Regalia Orders

  • RSVP by April 15 if you plan to participate in Commencement exercises and need regalia rented for you (paid for by the District).
  • Academic regalia is required to participate in the processional and when sitting at the designated faculty/staff area. When RSVP'ing, please request regalia, if needed. It will be rented at no cost to you. Regretfully, late orders cannot be accommodated.

Picking Up Regalia

  • Regalia may be picked up at the Admissions and Records Office the week of June 3rd during office hours.

  • Specific instructions will be provided by email as the date nears. You will be required to sign-off upon receipt.

  • Regalia will not be handed out on the day of Commencement as our staff will be busy preparing for the event.

Returning Regalia

  • Staff will be available to collect your regalia at the Studio Stage in the Theater Arts building immediately following the ceremony--until 7:30 PM. Do not leave the regalia in Theater Arts if an Admissions staff member is not there to receive it.

  • Drop off the regalia at the Admissions Office no later than Friday, June, 14 by 12:00 pm.

Inspirational Student Nomination

Nominate a deserving student. What we are looking for:

  • Inspiring stories of student graduating with a Bachelor's degree, Associate Degree, or a Certificate of Achievement, Certificate of Competency, or Certificate of Completion to highlight in our Graduation Program Booklet. Students transferring who are not graduating with one of the noted degrees/certificates are not eligible.

  • Students who have persevered through significant challenges and inspired others along the way to their degree/certificate.

  • There is no minimum GPA required to be nominated.

  • Complete a Student Profile Nomination Form. Provide ample details to aid in their selection.

  • The deadline to submit your nomination is March 29.
