Education Services
CSEA Dependent Scholarship
Looking for ways to help pay for your dependent’s college education? CSEA awards $1,000 Dependent Scholarships to graduating high school seniors as well as those already enrolled in community college, college/universities, or trade/vocational colleges. Applications are available and can be found here. Applications are due February 1, 2021. Applicants must be a dependent of a CSEA member in good standing. The selection of the scholarship winners is overseen by the CSEA Scholarship Committee and all applicants are notified of their award status no longer than the end of April.

Member Career Grant
Are you a member taking college classes on a part- or full-time basis? Then this program is for you! CSEA can help offset the cost of furthering your education. $1,000 grants are awarded based on a combination of criteria, which includes financial need, career goals, community service, and participation in CSEA activities. Applications are available beginning in June and are due October 31.

Member Student Loan Reducer
Student loan debt is a major problem that many of our members face. Thanks in part to an annual grant fromSchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union. CSEA can help members ease the debt with $500 grants. Applications are available in September of each year and are due February 15. Applications can be found here. The selection of the grant winners is made by the CSEA Scholarship Committee and all applicants are notified of their award status no later than the end of March.

This scholarship is for members or their dependents attending higher education. The applicant must be accepted into a U.S. accredited college, university, community college, technical or trade school at the time the award is issued.
