F1 Visa students are mandated to have health coverage and can obtain the insurance by creating an account with Wellfleet at www.wellfleetstudent.com . Once you have created an account with Wellfleet you will be able to access your referral and all other information.  To request a referral please contact the health office and a nurse will assist you.  

The health fee is not health insurance. It is a mandated fee that provides you access to the Student Health Center and The Center for Wellness and Wellbeing.  At the Health Center you can consult with a nurse or nurse practitioner (who can prescribe), get immunizations, and other resources that can help you.

The health fee is mandated and therefore can not be waived.

Our nurse practitioner can prescribe medication within certain limitations.  You will need to consult with the nurse practitioner.  We do not provide the medications. A prescription will be provided and you will have to go to a pharmacy of your choice to purchase the medication. 

 

 

 

Start by going to the Student Health Services Center. You will be issued with a referral/claim form. You may use any doctor or hospital you choose, but using the doctors and or hospitals available through https://www.cigna.com may decrease your costs. If you go to a doctor's office or to the Hospital, be sure to show your identification card. If the doctor or Hospital needs to verify your coverage, have them call Relation Insurance Services: (800) 537-1777
