Counseling Services

Fall 2024 counseling is available! For more information, please call us at 310-434-4459 or email us at latinocenter@smc.edu with your SMC ID number and availability to schedule a phone, video or in-person appointment.

Hours of Operation

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (in person)
Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (remotely)

Below you will find information on how to book an academic counseling appointment with an Adelante counselor.

Email to Request a Counseling Appointment

Email latinocenter@smc.edu to book your next counseling appointment. You have the option of booking a video or phone appointment. Please include the following:

First and Last Name
SMC ID Number
Days/times you are available
Indicate type of appointment (in-person, video or phone)

Book your own Counseling Appointment via Corsair Connect

The online booking system allows Adelante students to book a phone appointment. If you prefer a video appointment, please email the Latino Center to request a switch from phone to video and vice versa.

Step 1: Log into Corsair Connect.

Step 2: Under the SMC Quick Link Section (left hand side of the screen), find Book a Counseling Appointment.

Step 3: Select Book a Counseling Appointment.

Step 4: Select Adelante Program from the drop-down menu.

Step 5: Select a day/time that works for you.

Step 6: Reserve your appointment.
