PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENTS
EOPS Office Holiday Closure Notice
The EOPS office will be closed for in-person services and offering remote services on Friday, December 20 through Monday, December 23, 2024. Additionally, the office will be closed for the holiday break from Tuesday, December 24 through Wednesday, January 1.
We will offer remote services on Thursday, January 2, and Friday, January 3. Regular in-person services will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.

As a comprehensive state-funded program, EOPS is driven by a philosophy of providing services that are “over, above and in addition to” services available to all SMC students. To increase the access, retention and goal completion of participants, EOPS provides the following services:

- Priority registration
- Supplemental textbook assistance
- Educational, transfer and career development workshops
- 24/7 online tutoring
- Educational and cultural activities
- College field trips
- Application fee waivers to four-year institutions
