As soon as I set foot on SMC, I knew I was at the right school. SMC had a variety of tools and resources in order for me to succeed towards my personal goal.
I would say the number of classes that were offered at SMC helped influence me regarding my career, and taking different classes and seeing what interests me the most.
SMC helped me in many ways as regards to where I want to be. I would like to personally thank the Black Collegians and Adelante Office for offering outstanding research and leadership opportunities.
Do not let anyone tell you that you cannot pursue a certain career or major. There are plenty of resources at SMC. Some resources are handed to you, while some are hidden gems that you must find.
