Born and raised in Downey, California, I have been passionate about storytelling and technology my entire life. As part of the Inner-City Filmmakers (IFC) summer lm program, I wrote, directed and edited my own short lm, while also appearing in six other teammates’ short lms, which inspired me to apply to the Promo Pathway Program and pursue a career in media and entertainment.
My love for film and creative development grew in high school. I graduated with honors in 2014, and was involved with advanced lm, competed in lm competitions and was the chief graphic designer of my school’s yearbook.
As a child, I used to shoot and edit my own videos, experimenting with visual effects for fun, and would then show them to my family during the holidays when we would all gather together.
Filmmaking has been one of my interests ever since I can remember, and completing the Promo Pathways program has allowed me to merge my passion for storytelling and media through marketing.
