SMC Malibu Campus Reopens Tuesday, December 17

Following a thorough assessment of the Santa Monica College (SMC) Malibu Campus by the college’s Maintenance & Operations (M&O) department and leadership, the satellite campus will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, 2024. The impact of the Franklin Fire on the campus was minor, and the M&O department has taken steps to restore and clean the facility. We are grateful for their timely assistance to get SMC Malibu Campus back to its normal operations.

The SMC Emergency Operations Team continues to monitor conditions around SMC Malibu. Given recent events and environmental conditions, there is always the likelihood that disruptions may occur.
