Dear Colleagues,
As we continue to process our grief and loss, it is crucial that we come together as a community and support one another as we begin to process and heal. To that end, we have organized a range of support services that will be available for all employees throughout next week. These services are designed to offer emotional and psychological support as we navigate this tragedy together. We encourage you to take advantage of the resources available.
Support Resources for Staff (10/21/24-10/25/24):
Main Campus
- 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Individual drop-in counseling, Student Services Center, 3rd floor, Vice President of Student Affairs suite
- 2 - 3 p.m.: Group session for Maintenance, Grounds, and Operations staff only, Orientation Hall
- 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.: Group session, Room B111
- 11 p.m. - 12 a.m.: Group session for Maintenance, Grounds, and Operations staff only, Orientation Hall

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) will be present on the main campus quad throughout the day to offer resources and support
- 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Individual drop-in counseling, Room 116

11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Group session, Building D, 2nd floor conference room (No individual sessions available during this time)

In addition to the resources above, if you need additional support, please connect with our 24/7 emotional support hotline through Empathia at 877-841-1080. The Employee Assistance Service for Education (EASE) also offers short-term therapy services (bilingual support available) and can be reached at 800-882-1341.
A separate communication is going out to students with resources for them and will be posted on the website. Should you want the CWW to support any student spaces, please dont hesitate to reach out to us. We know this is an unimaginable time of loss for our community. Please lean on one another and do not hesitate to seek help if you need it. Together, we will find strength in community and care for one another as we work through this shared grief.
