Santa Monica College Remains Open February 5, 2024

Dear SMC Community:

The Santa Monica College Emergency Operations Team has been monitoring weather conditions in Los Angeles and surrounding communities due to the storm and associated rainfall/risk of flash floods in certain areas. Following our discussion at 7 p.m., Santa Monica College’s campuses will remain open tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 5. Classes and finals will occur as usual. Individuals being impacted by floods or heavy rainfall are asked to contact their immediate supervisor/area manager to request flexibility if they are not able to safely travel to their on-campus workplace tomorrow. Those who have the ability to work remotely can do so if approved by their immediate supervisor.
