Class Schedule

Some Spring 2025 SMC classes will be on ground while most will be online. Check with your instructor for additional information about how the class will be conducted.

Types of Online Classes (Modality)
OnlineModality-Scheduled Scheduled
Fully online and will be taught through Canvas yet also require students to attend Zoom meetings at the scheduled class time.		 OnlineModality-Flexible Flexible
Fully online and will be taught primarily through Canvas and other learning platforms that are flexible for the student’s schedule. 		OnlineModality-FlexwithSchedule Flexible with Scheduled Meetings
Fully online and will be taught through Canvas and other learning platforms at the scheduled class time but with recorded class meetings available for later viewing.		 OnlineModality-FlexwithExams Flexible with Scheduled Exams
Taught primarily through Canvas and other learning platforms that are flexible for the student’s schedule, but with mandatory Zoom meetings for exams and quizzes at the scheduled class time.

Onground On Ground
Fully on ground and will be taught in person at the time and location listed in the schedule of classes.		 Hybrid Hybrid
Taught on campus and online.		 Hybrid Hyflex
Taught on campus and online with the option for students to attend class on campus or participate over Zoom.
