Biography:
Lessac Master Teacher of Voice, Speech and Body Work. I am one of 5 Lessac Voice Master Teachers in the world and the only one west of the Mississippi. I've enjoyed teaching the Theatre Arts voice classes at SMC since 2000. My own training is in theatrical performance with an emphasis in classical acting from the University of Memphis, The British American Drama Academy's Oxford program and The Lessac Institute. My experience as a performer includes international collaborations, Broadway, Off-Broadway, Touring and Regional Professional productions and film and television roles in major motion pictures working with Oscar-winning performers: Sissy Spacek, Whoopi Goldberg, Brad Pitt, Winona Ryder, Dennis Quaid, Alec Baldwin among others. I also coach voice actors, corporate clients and design workshops for any market that looks to explore and develop the voice, including working with kids, teens, special needs and trainings through my personal website. I look forward to sharing what I've learned in voice building and strengthening with you!
