I graduated from Emerson College in Boston with an MFA in creative writing/screenwriting in 2001. I have been writing and teaching out here in Los Angeles ever since. This year, my short screenplay The Gambler has won seven screenplay awards, and my short directorial debut (my short Citizen Kane) has won three, including best actress at the Paris Short Film Festival. I sold two paintings this year and two of my poems were published in the latest LACC college journal. Art and Teaching go together!
