Purpose: To advocate self-awareness within the Latinx community by promoting student relations through the utilization of social, cultural, and academic resources.

Purpose: To provide growth and experience for our members through volunteering and leadership opportunities. Offering members time to socialize with one another to better connect with our society and SMC.

Purpose: Organize students of arts, art history, Asian studies, and other related majors to study the history and development of Asian art and how it differs from Western and African art. Analyze the progress of ancient and modern art history. Organize students to participate in auctions for volunteers, museums, galleries, art exhibition staff.
Purpose: To successfully cultivate global citizenship amongst ASEAN member students. We seek to promote diversity and awareness of Southeast Asian (SEA) culture to the SMC community while integrating students of SEA countries into SMC community simultaneously. Most importantly, the club provides a forum to preserve unique cultural traditions and connect with peers of similar heritage.
Purpose: We, the students of Santa Monica College, establish this club for the purpose of: ● furthering the knowledge and interest of students in the field of Astronomy ● permitting students to go beyond classroom instruction to further their understanding of the science by getting "hands-on" experience in the field ● undertaking several field trips throughout the semester to locations such as Joshua Tree National Park, Griffith Observatory, and other locals that allow students to experience firsthand the technology and expertise involved in celestial observation ● participating in fund-raising events to help inform the public about Astronomy ● participating in group projects focusing on topics of interest to STEM students ● informing students of lectures and other events of interest to STEM students ● raising awareness of the Astronomy club on campus ● gathering and engaging with other students with similar astronomical interests
Purpose: The Black Collegians Program Umoja Community at SMC is designed to assist students of African American descent in transferring to a 4 year university. Our program counselors offer academic, career, and personal counseling to help students achieve their academic goals.

Purpose: Our club educates students on the basics of organic gardening and composting along with fostering an environment for individuals who share an interest in sustainability to socialize.

Comflex aims to

Purpose: The purpose of the Corsair Consent Coalition (CCC) is to create a safe, inclusive campus for students of all gender expressions and sexual orientations by educating our campus community on issues surrounding sexual assault and violence. Corsair Consent Coalition is committed to combating sexual violence, educating students, and creating a supportive environment for survivors and allies. CCC will partner with on- and off-campus community resources in an effort to educate on the topics of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and healthy sexuality.

Purpose: The Organization shall be: “A safe place to connect and network, learn more about school involvement and opportunities, establish a community and pride through planning and participation in inclusive and diverse school and community events.”
Purpose: The Data Analytics Club is a student-run organization that provides resources for students interested in business and the field of data analytics. Students will have the chance to discuss the latest data technologies, concepts, and trends while learning how data analytics impacts and is incorporated into the various business, healthcare, and engineering fields. Students will also discuss current events, such as major news, etc. Mission： Provide students with the skills, the knowledge, and the network to enjoy a successful career in the fast-evolving and fascinating world of Data Analytics.
Purpose: We facilitate collaboration, creativity, community, and learning by sponsoring events and establishing resources. Students from diverse disciplines can engage with design thinking, strive to be competitive in their careers, and build a lasting and valuable network of peers.

Purpose: To inform students on the issues affecting the environment, and to take action regarding these issues.

Purpose: To give students knowledge of economic and financial situations and empower them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in the field of Economics and beyond.

Purpose: To expose students to the various fields of engineering and teach them some essential engineering skills.

Purpose: Our purpose is to show our love for literature! We do this through looking at different time periods, genres, styles, tones, or literary elements and debating what aspects make it important.

Purpose: The Enlightened Childhood Educators (ECE) Club strives to create a supportive community of diverse students and professionals to work together and empower each other. Through idea sharing, social events, and community outreach, ECE Club provides a safe and enriching environment to inspire tomorrow's educators.
Purpose: To create a fun learning environment for students who are interested in the French language and the cultures of the French-speaking world ; to encourage students to interact with club activities both on and off campus, and online; and to help students get involved and come together in our diverse community. Purpose: FFC Fashion Club’s purpose is to establish a fashion community providing students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and insight in fashion design and merchandising fields.

Purpose: SMC’s Hong Kong Students' Association is established with the purpose of uniting diverse students in SMC to cultivate the cultural traditions and values of Hong Kong; while working with different colleges and organizations. We also aim to host joint university events aiming to strengthen relations among all students – through Zoom or through in-ground meetings.

Purpose: To connect Indonesian students in Santa Monica College and help them cope with their new community and be more successful in their studies. We also work together with PERMIAS (Largest Indonesian Student Organization) to create various events to commemorate Indonesia and create a networking platform to meet your fellow Indonesians in other universities and community colleges.

Purpose: The purpose of this organization shall be promoting coherent relationships between both domestic and international students at Santa Monica College; encouraging student involvement and leadership; as well as emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange and enrichment.

Purpose: Support and promote Japanese culture through cultural events, activities, and social events.
Purpose: We run academic simulations of the United Nations; We will draft resolutions, discuss policy, and practice research, speech, and debate. Ultimately the club goal involves attending and hosting various conferences engaged in this same nature of simulation.

Purpose: To create a safe environment for individuals to express themselves and make friends. We want to create a space that gives our members a break from thinking about any stressful things happening in their lives. Music is a great way to do this, and we want our members to have opportunities to explore and learn with their music capabilities.

Purpose: The Student Nurse’s Association (SNA) is an organization for students of nursing.
The purpose of SNA is to assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education
in order to provide for the highest quality health care; to provide programs representative
of fundamental and current
professional interests and concerns and to aid in the development of the whole person, his/her professional role, and his/her responsibility for the health care of all people. SNA does this by influencing the educational process; promoting and encouraging participation in community affairs and activities; influencing health care through involvement in legislative activities; representing students to the consumer, to institutions and to other organizations; promoting and encouraging student participation in interdisciplinary activities and in recruitment efforts regardless of a person’s race, color, creed, lifestyle, gender, national origin, age, or economic status; and promoting collaborative relationships with other nursing and health organizations.

Purpose: Our mission is to grow and promote exceptional and creative writing talent at Santa Monica College. As technology continues to evolve, writers today, more than ever, find themselves inspired by one of the most exciting cultural challenges of our generation. Our poets, essayists, journalists and more, are on a journey, some as current students and others as alumni, to evolve the tradition of literature and its culture. We hope that our participation as part of this club will create a unique community of talent and develop tomorrow's mentors, publishers, visionaries, and artists.
