Since the inception of the Global Citizenship initiative at Santa Monica College, the Global Citizenship Committee chooses a theme to spotlight one of its facets. In doing so, the campus community can more tangibly study and understand the ideologies of globalism and citizenship. The theme for 2024-2026 is Mobility, Migration & Movement.
As we ponder and consider each word's meaning in our personal life, community, city, state, country and world, we come to see their diverse interpretation and significance.
