When to Apply: Enroll for Summer 2021 starting on March 29th through the High School Concurrent Application
process. The application filing priority period is March 29 to April 27.

Application Steps!
Free Program* for High School Students!
Free classes are for California high school students (rising 9th to 12th graders).
The program has no enrollment fees*, and you can earn credit for high school and/or college!
*Free enrollment for California high school students attending a California high school.
There are student fees totaling $51.50 ($19 health fee, $19.50 Associated Student fee (optional, but this gives you access
to ride the Big Blue Bus Any line Any time) and an optional $13 ID Card Fee.
Why enroll?
Students will choose from a variety of fun, hands-on and interactive courses being offered in a wide range of interesting topics offered at Santa Monica College this summer.
Benefits of the Program
Students can take advantage of computer labs, tutoring services, editing bays, and other campus features made available.
All courses that will be offered are UC/CSU transferable and do not have prerequisites to take the classes. A full menu of options is below. Please check the SMC Summer Schedule for specific course meeting times and the section numbers, which you will need for the enrollment process. The full summer schedule will be available on March 29th.
