Community Education at SMC offers hundreds of classes to individuals who wish to explore their personal interests or enhance their careers. Our low-cost, not-for-credit Community Education courses are designed to enrich lives through hands-on workshops and lively classes in art, writing, dance, and many other areas.

Quality Learning Experience
In normal circumstances we offer ground and online classes, but as can be seen from the statement in blue, above, all ground classes are currently presented "Remote Live" online.
Our classes are solely supported by you, our students, and if they remain on our schedule, you can be assured that they have met the test of delivering quality learning experiences that support personal fulfillment and career development goals.
How We Do It*
- Traditional Community Education classes (currently presented Remote Live, online)
- Fundamental classes: Single topic, instructor-led, online classes, presented in conjunction with our online partner, ed2go
- Career Training: Online training programs lasting from 3 months to 1 year, also with ed2go
* Note that all our classes are not-for-credit, non-transferable classes for personal and career development.
