Fall 2025 Student Dates and Deadlines
The College will be closed and no classes will be held these dates:
- Labor Day: Monday, September 1
- Veteran's Day: Tuesday, November 11
(SMC will also be closed and no classes held on Nov. 11) - Thanksgiving: Thursday & Friday: November 27-28
(SMC will be closed and no classes held)
The College will be closed for Winter Break:
- December 24 - January 1
The College will be closed and no classes will be held these dates:
- Lincoln's Day: Friday, Feb. 11
- Presidents' Day: Monday, Feb. 21
- Cesar Chavez Day (12-Month Classified): Monday, April 11
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 30
The Campus will be open, but classes will not be held these dates:
- Departmental Flex Day for Faculty: Friday, March 4
- Institutional Flex Day: Tuesday, March 15
Spring Break: Campus Open (except Monday), No Classes held
- Spring Break: Monday, April 11 - Sunday, April 17
Fall Payment Deadline
- Payment Deadline: Wednesday, August 6 at 5 p.m.
- If you enroll after the date above, you must pay for any new class you add by midnight of the same day, otherwise you will be dropped for nonpayment.

Fall enrollment fee refunds are processed twice during the semester:
- Refunds for Full Semester, 1st 8-Week, and 12-Week classes will be started on Wednesday, October 1
- Refunds for 2nd 8-Week (late start) classes will be started on Wednesday, November 12
- Allow 3-6 more weeks for checks to reach student
