A Little Night Music
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Book by Hugh Wheeler
Directed by Perviz Sawoski
Musical Direction by Gary Gray
Known for its waltz-driven music and the iconic “Send in the Clowns,” it remains one
of Sondheim’s most celebrated works. A Little Night Music unfolds in a world of shifting romances, missed connections, and second chances,
guided by Stephen Sondheim’s elegant score and sharp storytelling. Set during a summer
weekend in the country, the musical follows a group of intertwined guests whose
past and present relationships collide in unexpected ways. As desires surface
and truths reshape the evening, the characters navigate love with humor,
restraint, and quiet longing.
