Extended Opportunity Program & Services (EOPS) at Santa Monica College is a program that supports the enrollment, retention, graduation and transfer of students who are challenged by economic and educational disadvantages.
As a comprehensive state-funded program, EOPS is driven by a philosophy of providing services that are “over, above and in addition to” services available to all students. EOPS provides support through counseling, tutoring, textbook assistance, transfer services, priority registration, and more!
Other support programs available include Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE), CalWORKs, and Guardian Scholars (foster youth). Information on these programs can be found at the links on the left.
