Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Section 125

 
Santa Monica Community College District offers Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) under Section 125 for eligible faculty and staff through American Fidelity Assurance Company.

If you have any significant or predictable out-of-pocket medical expenses (i.e. prescription medication, orthodontia for yourself and/or children, co-pays and co-insurance for doctor’s visits, insurance deductibles, etc.) or pay for child/adult dependent care, you may be able to reduce your taxes by enrolling in Section 125 Health Care FSA and/or Dependent Day Care FSA plan.

To Enroll: Employees are only eligible to enroll within 31 days of their hire date or during open enrollment. Please contact the Office of Human Resources for more information.
