Must submit either a FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (AB540 students).
Must enroll and complete at least 12 units with a D or better to retain eligibility. Grades other than A, B, C, D, P do not count in the 12 units.

How do I get my book voucher?
If you qualify, go to the SMC Bookstore between August 12 and October 25 to get your fall books/course materials; and from February 3 to April 24 to get your spring books/course materials. You must stay enrolled in 12 units to use the voucher.
When will you pay for my enrollment fees?
Your enrollment fees will be paid at the end of the semester. Stay enrolled in 12 units to ensure fees are paid.
How do I get my Student ID card?
Go to the Cashier's Office in the Student Services Center. Let them know you are a SMC Promise student.
What if I already paid for my books or enrollment fees?
For books and course materials, just take your receipt to the Bookstore and ask for a refund. For fees, reimbursements will be processed after the end of the semester.
