The Dale Ride Internship

Established in 1991, the Dale Ride Internship honors the memory of Dr. Dale Ride, Professor of Political Science, administrator, and political activist on behalf of the SMC community. The program allows SMC students to participate in politics locally, statewide or nationally, in governmental or non-governmental agencies; broaden students' awareness of public service as a career; and complement the curriculum for disciplines related to public service/public policy with hands-on practical internship experience.

Students may apply for the eight-week summer internships each preceding December.
