Gerda Newbold is currently in a Planning Commissioner reviewing development policy and projects for the City of Santa Monica.
Gerda is also very active at her local public school, Roosevelt Elementary. For the past several years, she has volunteered for several PTA positions and is currently the PTA President.
Gerda's professional background is in public finance and affordable housing development. She has worked for a number of local non-profit housing developers.
Gerda graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Psychology and received her MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
