A Message from President Jeffery on Third-Party Comments
Santa Monica College is in the process of finalizing its Self Evaluation Report for the reaffirmation of our accreditation. This report provides information and reflection on the College’s many accomplishments, challenges, and evolution over the past six years, and includes acknowledgement of areas in need of improvement.
It is important that we include your input, and to that end we invite your comments on the drafts of the Self Evaluation Report. To submit a comment, question or concern about the Self Evaluation drafts, visit the SMC Public Comment webpage.
In addition, The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) also accepts comments related to an institution’s compliance with Eligibility Requirements, Accreditation Standards, and Commission policies at any time. Third-party comments associated with the self-evaluation review cycle must be received by the ACCJC no later than five weeks before scheduled Commission consideration.
