(310) 434-4319. Performances are held in one of the two theaters in the Theatre Arts Complex, located on SMC’s Main Campus, 1900 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica. Listed prices are for advance tickets. Price at door is an additional $3. Advance tickets may be purchased online ( www.smc.edu/eventsinfo), by phone at (310) 434-4319, via a ticket order dropbox by the Theatre Arts Department office, in person at the SMC Theatre Arts Box Office (Theatre Arts Complex, SMC Main Campus; limited hours). A modest service charge applies. Discounts available for SMC students (with current ID) and seniors attending selected events.

Don’t miss Santa Monica College’s first multi-department collaborative theatrical production! Created by the Executive Producer of High School Musical, Locals Only! tells the story of Buzz, a poor young surfer who falls in love with Ariel, a “Valley Girl” from a sheltered, privileged background. Set in Venice, CA, this one-act musical—filled with colorful characters and foot-stomping songs and dances—reveals the inevitable conflicts that arise when different worlds collide. A Lamentable Tragedie Comedie
By Terrin Adair-Lynch, adapted from Shakespeare’s Richard III. Wherein is showne the death of the late King, with the smothering of two young Princes; With a lamentable end of a shrew wife, an example for all wicked women; And lastly, the conjunction and joining of two noble Houses, a war of roses.

Next to Normal
Music by Tom Kit, Book and Lyrics by Brian Yorkey.
Told through a rock musical, Next to Normal explores mother’s struggle with bipolar disorder. Following her on her journey, a loved one reappears in a most unusual way. Grief, tears, joy, happiness—all are met along this rocking rocky road.
